JAKARTA, WB – Commission III DPR must postpone plenary meeting related to selection of KPK leader candidate. The reason is, there are no fraction member of Indonesia Great Coalition (IGC) that come.
“We have to postpone the meeting because IGC Fraction is yet to come,” said Vice Chairman of Commission III Benny K Harman at Senayan Parliament Complex, Thursday (27/11).
Benny said, Commission III keep waiting IGC presence to held the plenary meeting. But if the IGC still not coming, the meeting will be postpone until next week.
“If this noon they come, we will wait. If not, next week,” said the Democrat Party politician.
Meanwhile, politician of PDI Perjuangan Aria Bima said, IGC member will not attend all meeting of DPR fittings if there were no revision of Laws No 17 Year 2014 about MPR, DPR, DPD, and DPRD (MD3).
He,s ensure, without IGC the fittings will not make any decision. The problem is, all members that attend every meeting will not achieve quorum.
“Now we just see the commitment, and we just follow it. Its not about the right or wrong, good or bad, but about the winner,” he said.
Before, government already submit two names of KPK leader candidate, Busyro Muqoddas and Roby Arya Brata, to DPR for selection. But, the selection process still not being held because conflict in DPR.[]
